What does DAC7 mean and why have I received an email about a reported control statement to the Swedish Tax Agency?

Uppdaterad 2025-10-01

The information applies to Swedish users (both companies and private individuals).

What does DAC7 mean?
As of January 1, 2023, all platform operators, which Blinto is, are required to submit a control statement to the Swedish Tax Agency for sellers who have used the platform and sold objects.

How do I know if this affects me?
Reporting will only apply to sellers who have used Blinto’s platform during the relevant calendar year. To be included in the reporting, you as a seller must have carried out more than 30 transactions during the year or sold objects for more than EUR 2,000.

What information will be shared with the Swedish Tax Agency?
For those affected by the reporting, we will submit details about the seller’s:

  • Identity, organization or personal identity number
  • Home address
  • Country
Number of transactions made during the year
  • Compensation paid to the seller during the year
  • Commissions charged by Blinto in connection with these transactions
  • Bank account to which payments were made

It is important to know that these reporting rules in no way affect how your income is taxed. If you have questions regarding taxation or more details about what these rules mean, you can read about this on Skatteverket.se
